Dove Takes Action Against Photoshoped Images
Early last week it was announced that Dove has rallied a campaign called the “Photoshop Action” which is aimed at photographer, art directors and re-touchers who overly airbrush models for visual effect.
Dove, who is known for their Real Beauty campaign, encourages the depiction of aged and imperfect women in media who they believe are just as beautiful. The Photoshop Action is a downloadable file that appears to give a skin glow effect on the image that is being manipulated.
However, once the graphic is applied, the image is reverted to its orignal state. Head over to our forums to watch the video on Dove’s “Call to action” and tell us what you think!
